Growing up, Diane had the type of creative imagination it took to make beautiful art from the simplest of objects. Cardboard boxes became big, brick houses. Egg cartons turned into funky furniture. Even dishtowels made fabulous draperies. What had started out as simple child’s play sparked by a magazine from her mother, would eventually become Diane’s greatest passion.
Before Made in the Shade, Diane had a successful career in the real estate industry. Her first-hand experience ranges from new homes to extensive renovations of historic homes. Her vision and talent for interior design were featured within her personal residence on the 2019 Munger Place Historic Home Tour. With an extraordinary eye for historical homes in a modern society, her innate ability to conserve elements of the past and cleverly blend contemporary ideas bring uniqueness to her vision.
Here, at Made in the Shade, Diane will work with you to create YOUR vision. She will help you solve the challenge of maintaining your beautiful views while still providing privacy and improving energy efficiency in your home.
Your windows are meant to be seen. It’s up to you to make sure they’re being talked about.
